Our team is incredibly excited; we truly believe this will accelerate our vision to have a floor plan for every real estate listing in the world.
Our exciting recent advancements in computer vision technology and process automation have empowered us to transform our pricing, in order to increase floor plan adoption in every market we serve.
Additionally, we’re now giving our users a lot more freedom to pick and choose the features they want! Our new approach lets you purchase optional add-ons on each order that best fit your needs – adding any combination of Fixed Furniture details, Digital GLA or expedited “rush” delivery – but only if you want them. We aim to provide you with the exact product you need, without unnecessary features that would increase the total cost of the CubiCasa product.
Our revolutionary mobile scanning technology has already eliminated the difficulty of producing an accurate floor plan – our process takes 5 minutes for a full house, requires no training, and can be done with nearly any smartphone you already have in your pocket. And now we’ve eliminated the final objection not to have a floor plan on a real estate listing: cost.

Our Big, Hairy Audacious Goal: Every listing has a floor plan
According to the National Association of Realtors, homebuyers consider floor plans the most desired feature on a home listing, after standard listing photos and property data. However, only about 10-15% of home listings in the U.S. have floor plans today, whereas, in many other countries around the world, they’re ubiquitous because of the massive benefits they create for a better-functioning real estate market. The inclusion of a floor plan can make a property more attractive, contributing to a higher sales price and faster closing time, and provide real estate agents and photographers, appraisers, mortgage lenders, home insurance carriers, homeowners, and homebuyers with a better experience throughout the home buying process.
A vital part of CubiCasa’s mission will be to educate agents, buyers, and sellers about the importance of floor plans. We’ll keep promoting our Certified Photographers on our website, social media, and paid marketing channels and motivate our customers to include a floor plan to every shoot, listing, appraisal, and inspection. Lastly, we’ll want the world to know that to create a comprehensive understanding of the property, you do not need a fancy and expensive 3D tour. One simple floor plan will be more than enough.
How do the new add-ons compare to Base and Plus?
If you’ve been using the Base product
Matching add-ons with the Base product would be:
- Add GLA report (+$15/€10)
If you’ve been using the Plus product
Matching add-ons with Plus product would be:
- Add fixed furniture (+$15/€10)
- Add GLA report (+$15/€10)
For customers in the United States, you’ll see the following price decreases:
- For Base, from $22.99 to $15 for the majority of the customers
- For Plus, from $29.99 to $15 for the majority of the customers
For customers outside the United States, a starting cost of $/€9.99 will be added to your order. While the price seems to be higher for these markets, we haven’t seen the usage of the GLA report outside the United States – which is logical because the GLA report follows an appraisal standard defined for the US appraisal market. In practice, the price of a Plus floor plan will remain the same for all markets outside the US, and most real estate agents and photographers do not need the GLA report to be included at all, hence the price decrease is even more significant for customers using the Base product.
Other add-ons and product changes
Default floor plans will be customizable with your logo, colors, and style – at no extra charge. We will continue to offer the “express” 6-hour turnaround time for $10. For orders exceeding 5000 sq. ft total scanned area, we’ll introduce a new additional cost of $10 that covers the extra work required to produce the large and complex floor plans of these special properties.
In addition, our users will be able to use Apple Pay as a payment method instead of in-app purchases for those who wish to pay for the floor plans on their mobile.
