CubiCasa is developing the most scalable way to acquire property interior data. How do we do it? We help real estate industry to capture indoor data and information models of properties with our easy-to-use mobile app – and we offer our technology also through an SDK. Since 2015, we have delivered more than 1,000,000 floor plans to thousands of companies and we are on the verge of becoming a standard in the industry. At the moment our team consists of roughly 50 employees mainly in Oulu (Finland, HQ), Helsinki (Finland), San Jose (California) and Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam).

 


DevOps Engineer

We are looking for an experienced DevOps engineer that will help our team establish DevOps practice. You will work closely with the technical lead and CTO  to identify and establish DevOps practices in the company. Our backend team is responsible for building CubiCasa Core platform. Together the team designs and implements  a collection of APIs and services ranging from machine learning pipelines to web APIs used by internal tools and customer facing services.

 

Technical Background

  • Proficient with git and git workflows
  • Good knowledge on Kubernetes and Docker
  • Good knowledge on AWS

 

Requirements

  • Great written and spoken English
  • Great communication skills
  • Experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
  • Must be able to meet deadlines but still withstand delays and raise issues
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at a given time
  • 3+ years of industry working experience

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage AWS network infrastructure
  • Configure and manage monitoring systems for operating infrastructure in AWS CloudWatch.
  • Support performance testing of systems running on different AWS EC2 instance types and operating environments.
  • Support security audits of compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.

iOS Software Engineer/Developer

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer/Developer to join our mobile team. You will work closely with our SDK and the GoToScan application. GoToScan is built with SwiftUI around our SDK which is an ARKit based scanning tool for capturing data in 3D space. Our mobile team is responsible for building CubiCasa mobile apps and SDKs. Together the team develops customer facing applications and SDK for 3rd party integrators. 

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Developing, updating and maintaining GoToScan powered By CubiCasa
  • Research and creating Proof-of-Concepts with our SDKs 

 

Technical Background

  • Proficient with Git(Git-Flow), CocoaPods, Firebase, Jira (Kanban) 
  • 3-5 years Swift experience, as well as knowledge of Apple’s iOS frameworks, UX paradigms Universal Links flow, etc.
  • SwiftUI/Combine experience
  • ARKit knowledge
  • Knowledge of Apple’s Metal

Software Engineer

We are looking for Software Engineers to join our Editor Tool team. Editor is a web based configurable tool for creating and editing CubiCasa models which are derived from mobile captures of indoor spaces.  It’s also used as a rendering engine for exporting models into raster images with various resolutions, styles and layouts.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • As part of the Editor team you are responsible for developing new features to the Editor tool as well as maintaining its code base.
  • Working with both user facing features and internal SDKs
  • Participating in planning of new features and product roadmap

 

Technical Background

  • Bachelor or higher degree in computer science or a related field
  • Proficiency in Vanilla Javascript ES6 and Web technologies
  • Good understanding of vector graphics, especially svg
  • Good understanding of 2D linear algebra
  • Experience in asynchronous communication with RESTful APIs 
  • Proficiency in git

  • Understanding good UX design
